Parenting a child with additional needs is one of the most incredible, life-changing journeys you can walk.


It’s also one of the hardest.

At The Kids Counsellor, I offer counselling support for mothers and caregivers who are navigating the joys, challenges, and emotions that come with raising a neuro-divergent or medically complex child. Whether you're just starting the journey after a new diagnosis or you've been walking this path for a while, you deserve a space that's just for you too.

What Our Sessions Look Like

Counselling here doesn’t have to look like sitting stiffly across from someone under bright lights.
It can look like:

  • A gentle walk and talk outside in nature

  • A relaxed chat over a cup of coffee

  • Therapeutic art activities that let you process emotions without having to find all the right words

  • Quiet talk therapy sessions where you can simply be heard and held without judgement

  • 1:1 yoga or meditation sessions designed to help you regulate your nervous system, reconnect to yourself, and breathe again

The goal is to create a space that feels safe, welcoming, and truly fits you — because when you are cared for, your whole family benefits.
